My Coaching Philosophy



I have a decade of experience coaching and training athletes for events ranging from 800 meters to multi-day ultras. I’ve also worked with athletes who have goals outside of racing. I’ve trained runners coming back from injury or pregnancy or time away from running who want to return to running in a healthy, sustainable way that ensures they continue running strong through out their life. I’ve worked with runners who want to feel strong in their bodies and prepare for big adventures on the trail such as hiking the Grand Canyon, summiting mountains, and long thru hikes. I get excited about each runner’s unique perspective and process and I aim to build a lasting and supportive coach/athlete relationship.

I’m looking to work with runners who have a desire to dive deeper into their running journey and see what there is to learn about themselves and the world around them. I believe we run strongest and with the most enjoyment when we’re embodied and connected to the world around us. In a culture where we’ve lost touch with these connections, this skill set takes time to develop and master. The great news is, the process can be really fun!


My Coaching Includes:

  • A monthly training plan with daily feedback and two monthly in-person or online check-ins.

  • Non-metric based runs/workouts to practice presence while running and training.

  • Embodiment practices to invite you to tune into your body, your breath, your effort, and your energy.

  • Building the skill of running and training based on body feedback.

  • Orienting practices to provide opportunities for connection with the world around you.

  • Intention setting for training seasons and specific events/races.

  • Journal prompts to allow for communication and self reflection about your running process.
